We’ve been long time followers of Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio – if you’re not following them on instagram we highly recommend that you do for a dose of fabulous Italian street style inspiration! We couldn’t contain our excitement when we heard that they were launching a label…Attico. When their first collection dropped we were in absolute awe…the cuts, the insanely beautiful fabrics with subtly striking prints and embroidery and the decadence in the transformation of loungewear into luxewear just had us both trying to figure out how we could extend our salaries somehow to purchase the whole collection! Whilst purchasing all items was rather out of our reach, we couldn’t resist adding one of their incredible kimonos to our wardrobe. Its one of those pieces that will be a life long treasure and transform many moments into style memories. Huge admiration for both Tordini and Ambrosio in creating a label which celebrates dressing up in the everyday and injecting such glamour into items which wouldn’t conventionally be seen outside the home. They take girlboss to a whole new level!
What to pair however with such a statement kimono?! Elizabeth loves a white shirt and this Storets shirt channels an almost flamenco spirit in the voluminous sleeves. We loved it so much that we’ve purchased it in both a black and navy blue gingham which we will feature sometime soon.

We can’t believe that 2016 is now at an end and we are in another New Year. 2016 was a heck of a ride – full of significant positives but also tinged with a number of challenging moments, but hey that’s life. With the world having gone through such tragedies and difficulties itself it certainly made us reflect on our own lives and made us even more focused on those things that matter most in life. With that even more enhanced view point on life we are so looking forward to 2017 and all the adventures ahead. Hoping that 2017 is a year full of happiness, dreams reached or steps taken towards those dreams, lots of time with loved ones and of course many fabulous style moments for all of our followers.
We adore a good backdrop and have driven past this corrugated iron fence countless times on our way to whatever theatre production/practice we were heading to when we were young. Who knew it would be the perfect spot for showcasing metallic slip goodness and classic denim wear! If you haven’t checked Daniel Avakain’s Resort 16/17 collection out you really must – between the tailored pastel pink suits, flares, robes in both silk and metallic fabrics and low cut back dresses there will be something you will be sure to be drooling over. We have a real fondness for slip dresses so couldn’t go past Daniel Avakain’s metallic slip which can so easily be worn for a night out or dressed down with a tshirt or a classic denim jacket worn over. Elizabeth made a ‘quick’ stop in at Zara recently and her credit card came out surprisingly relatively unscathed but with a fabulous pair of classic blue denim jeans. The fit on these jeans is really perfect and we just loved it with the staple wardrobe bodysuit.
